    Poetics of freedom is consolidated with more than 107,000 visitors as one of the great cultural milestones at the national level in 2016

    Its worldwide impact has placed Cuenca at the epicenter of international contemporary art.

    After four and a half months, the exhibition La poetica de la libertad closed its doors this Sunday with a balance more than positive. This exhibition project, promoted by the Community of Castilla La Mancha and the Cathedral of Cuenca as one of the major exhibitions organized by the regional government to commemorate the fourth centenary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes, has been a success both public, 107,113 visitors of which 20% were foreigners, hundreds of school visits and thousands of attendees to the various free video mapping sessions on the facade of the cathedral, as well as repercussions.

    Each entry gives access not only to the exhibition and the Cathedral as a whole, but also to the Treasury Museum of the Cathedral of Cuenca.
    In addition, visitors will also be presented with an entrance to the Museum of Paleontology of Castilla-La Mancha, located in the city of Cuenca.
    You will also have a reduced (50% discount) to the Monastery of the Order of Santiago in Uclés (Cuenca), courtesy of the Bishopric of Cuenca entrance.

    Guided Tours

    Guided tours are always made and there is availability of places at the box office (35 maximum), or by prior booking on the phone 618 281 597 or in person at the box office form.

    Guided tours are possible at the following times: 10:30 11:30 12:30 13:30 16:30, 17:30, 18:30 19:30 and 20:00.
    It is also available to interested guided tours in English at 14.00 and at 17.00 visits.
    For other languages you must be requested in advance.
    The duration of the tour is one hour and a quarter, approximately, and maximum per group is 25.
    The guided tour to the previously established schedule, is included in the ticket price.

    Virtual Tour

    The exhibition offers this service for free with the purchase of each entry, and includes, following a marked course, an explanation of the most relevant content of the sample as well as the exhibition space and its artists.

    Concerts and limited access

    Cuenca Cathedral reconciles this exhibition with their usual activities, such as weddings. Because of this some days may not purchase tickets for certain times (check when buying the location)
